JyotishTools Pro for Windows has been updated to 1.1.60 and now available on the Windows Store. This release uses the .net MAUI framework which the Android and iOS also use. Unlike the previous Xamarin framework UWP version it looks more like a Windows app utilizing WinUI 3. The actual screenshots have been displayed on the Windows Store for awhile because the installer wasn’t ready until recently.
Before you rush to install or update your copy be sure that you back up your chart files and personal atlas (if you have one). That’s from the Utilities menu in the app. This is because for some reason the install may wipe out your current chart database.
Even though Microsoft notified it was posted in the store it seemed to take an additional day for users still to get the right file installed. I suspect there were bugs in their server for processing the download of the app.
I know a few users have not updated an app from the Windows Store. When you open the Store app on the lower left there is a Library icon. Click on it and it will list the apps you have downloaded from Store including JyotishTools Pro. Click on it to update the app on your computer.
